I came across this case recently, and it’s hard not to think about the ripple effect of such tragedies on the community. I didn't know Tewana personally, but seeing her friends and family talk about her warmth and kindness really hits home. It got me pondering about the responsibility we have to support those who might be in difficult situations, perhaps like Tewana was. Her story brings up tough conversations about domestic violence and gun safety, especially within our own neighborhoods where we assume we’re safe. How can we better watch for warning signs among our friends and family? Her death is a harsh reminder that sometimes, intervening in what might feel like someone else's business could save a life. Wishing peace and strength to those who are grieving her loss right now.
