Does anyone else find it chilling that the shooting happened in such a public space? It’s unsettling to think something so tragic could occur in a place most of us consider safe, like the parking lot of a closed restaurant. I drive by that area frequently, and it's hard to wrap my head around the fact that someone lost their life there. It feels even more painful when thinking about how Brandon was just sitting in his car when his life was taken from him. Sending all my thoughts to his family and friends who are undoubtedly grappling with this tremendous loss. I hope they find some comfort and justice in the coming days. This incident serves as another stark reminder of the ongoing issue of gun violence plaguing our community.
