On November 19, 2018, 36-year-old Barbara Posey was found deceased from a gunshot wound in her home on Trails End Lane in Leeds, Alabama. The St. Clair County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a possible shooting that morning and discovered her body. Neighbors indicated that Posey and her boyfriend, 39-year-old George Darrell Heath, had a volatile relationship.
