I've been following the case of Thomas Lee Henson, and it continues to weigh on my mind. I can't help but think about the impact this has had on his family and friends. Losing someone at such a young age is a nightmare no one should have to endure. It's terrible how violence stole Thomas from those who cared for him. I've read that Thomas had a way of lifting the spirits of everyone around him, which must have made his absence even more profound. I hope his community can come together to support each other and help keep his memory alive. Does anyone else feel like these senseless acts of violence are becoming all too common? I wonder what steps we can take as a society to prevent such tragedies. My thoughts are with everyone who knew and loved Thomas.
