Hey everyone,
I've been following the Matthew Gibbs case, and I can't shake the feeling that there's more to the location aspect of this tragedy. The fact that he was found near Walnut Hill Elementary but the shooting happened elsewhere is really puzzling. I'm curious if anyone else thinks this might indicate the shooting was planned elsewhere and they didn't want anyone to find him quickly? Or could it be that the whole incident happened spontaneously and the shooter panicked?
It's genuinely difficult to imagine what Matthew's family must be going through, not having clear answers about what happened. I sincerely hope anyone with information comes forward, not just for justice but for the peace his loved ones desperately need. Also, how do you all feel about VSU's new security plans? It seems crucial that students feel safe and protected while they're focusing on their education.

I just wanted to share some thoughts about the location where poor Matthew Gibbs was found. I drive by Walnut Hill Elementary School pretty often, and it’s usually such a quiet area, especially in the summer without kids around. The fact that such a violent act ended here is truly disturbing. It makes you wonder about the route this all took, and why that spot? Was Matthew maybe trying to get help or just in the wrong place at the wrong time?
Also, big props to VSU for taking immediate action with their security measures. It's crucial they create a safer environment for everyone since it affects not just students but the wider community. These young adults have so much potential, and it’s a tragedy for anyone to lose their life in such senseless circumstances. My thoughts and love go out to Matthew's family and friends during this devastating time. If anyone knows more about what really happened or hears updates, sharing could help prevent this from happening again. Keep safe, everyone.
