Has anyone else been following the aftermath of Crystal Brown's tragic death? I was reading about the barbershop event they held last month in her honor, organized by some local community leaders. It's really tough to see such a vibrant community struggling to come to terms with this. It’s touching to witness the unity and strength displayed by people who knew and loved Crystal, but it’s equally frustrating that we still have no answers or accountability for her and Rodrel Mathis's murders. It reminds me just how important it is to keep these stories alive and support each other in finding justice. Has anyone heard about any additional community efforts or advocacy work happening in Roanoke? We need more conversations on how to prevent tragedies like these from reoccurring.
