I’ve been thinking a lot about the memorial candles lit for Donavan James Fritz II, and it really struck a chord with me. Forty-nine candles—each one symbolizing not just the loss of a life, but the ripple effect his death has had on the community. I didn’t know Donavan personally, but those candles speak volumes about the impact he had on the people around him. It’s so touching to see a community come together like this to honor someone taken too soon. It makes me wonder how many lives he touched and what sort of person he was to inspire such a heartfelt response. It's clear that he was loved and will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to his family and friends during this painful time. I truly hope justice will be served and that they find some peace and closure in the days ahead.
