I've been following the case of Nikemeon Brewer, and something that's been on my mind is the impact this tragedy must have on his brother, Jermel. I can't imagine the weight on Jermel's shoulders right now—serving in the Navy, suddenly in charge of ten younger siblings, and now dealing with the loss of his brother. It's a lot for one person to handle, and my heart goes out to him and the entire family. The community has really stepped up with the GoFundMe campaign, and it’s a testament to the love and support that still exists even in such dark times. I hope Jermel and those kids feel the love from all corners as they navigate through this. If anyone has updates on how the family is doing or how else we might be able to help, please share. Let's keep them in our thoughts and continue to rally around them.
