Has anyone else been following the Michael Holmes case from Savannah? I was thinking about how none of us are ever really prepared for something like this to hit so close to home. My thoughts are with Michael’s family and friends. I can’t even begin to imagine what they’re going through right now. I’m curious about the area on Skidaway Road where it happened. Does anyone know if it's generally considered safe, or are incidents like this more common there? I’ve read that this has upset the whole community, and it makes me wonder if people will start to feel unsafe in their neighborhoods. It's just troubling to think about how quickly things can change because of violence. If anyone local has more insights, I’d love to hear your perspective on what the community is doing to cope and how they're pushing for answers. Hoping for some justice and peace for Michael’s loved ones.
