Hey everyone, I'm really troubled by the recent shooting of Demietrese Mack Evans in Hanahan. The news hit me hard—it's just so senseless. I can't help but feel for his family and friends who must be going through an unimaginable time right now. I saw some folks talking about how this is likely an isolated event, but I think it’s a strong reminder that we should all look out for one another and keep our communities safe. One thing that's sticking with me is how quiet everything seems to be from the authorities. No arrests, no suspects... it’s frustrating. I know we need to trust the process, but it's tough not having answers. If any of you in the local area know something, anything, please reach out to the Hanahan PD. It's times like these that community support can make a real difference. Let's hope for some progress soon. Sending thoughts and strength to everyone affected by this tragedy. Stay safe.
