On October 31, 2023, 17-year-old Bryan Tapia Valencia was fatally shot in Bay Point, California. The incident occurred around 9:25 p.m. on Island View Court in the Shore Acres neighborhood, where neighbors reported hearing approximately 30 to 40 gunshots.
