I’ve been following the Mahaffey case closely, and my thoughts are with Harriet’s loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. Something that stands out to me is the fact there was no sign of forced entry at Harriet's home. It makes me wonder if Lloyd Caldwell Jr. might have had some kind of relationship with Harriet or had visited her before. It’s disturbing to think how someone so young could be involved in such a senseless act. Could it be that Harriet trusted him enough to let him in, or did he know a way into her home that didn’t require breaking in? The way this has all unfolded raises so many unsettling questions, and I hope the investigators are able to piece together exactly what happened. Harriet deserved so much better, and I hope justice is served soon.
