Hey everyone, I've been following this deeply unsettling case from Newberry about Troy Leonard Sims. I recently read a little bit more about the impact he had on those around him, and the community stories are truly touching. From what people in the area are saying, he seemed to be such a pillar in the neighborhood, especially bringing so much positivity with him. It's really devastating to hear about the loved ones he left behind, especially his children and grandchildren. I can't imagine the void they're feeling. The details about his Celebration of Life were particularly moving, it appears the community tried to come together to honor him in the best way possible. I'm hoping the Newberry Police Department and SLED are getting closer to some leads. It’s hard to fathom how such violence can erupt in our communities. If anyone has updates or has been in the area and noticed something, it would be a big help to share with investigators.
