I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy must have on Jai'Shaun Young's friends and family. Losing someone so young and vibrant in such a violent way is just unimaginable. I came across the GoFundMe page that his mom started, and it really hit home. It’s not just about covering funeral costs, but the emotional toll it must take on someone trying to navigate such unimaginable grief. There's been some talk about the potential gang connection and the suspects' juvenile records, but it’s hard to wrap my head around how two teenagers could end up involved in something like this. My heart goes out to the Young family and the Gastonia community. They don’t deserve this kind of pain, and I truly hope justice is served and that it brings some measure of peace to all those affected.
