Hey everyone, I’ve been following the Evans Court incident and something’s been on my mind that I haven’t seen much discussion about. Devante Marquise Legette’s history with the legal system is certainly complex, and I can't help but feel for his family who have had to navigate all of this. They’re dealing with a lot of scrutiny right now, and despite his past, they’ve lost someone they loved. The fact that Legette’s charges in relation to James Cross Jr.’s death were dismissed the day after the shooting is puzzling. It makes me wonder if there’s something bigger going on behind the scenes. It’s frustrating not knowing how these legal systems work, and I can only imagine how this adds to the grief and confusion for his family. I hope the authorities get some leads soon and that anyone who's holding back information steps up. If you're local and hear anything, please pass it on to the sheriff’s office. Let’s try to bring some peace to all the families involved.
