Hey everyone, I've been following the discussion about the recent tragedy on Gault Street, and something that's been on my mind is the location of the incident. It's so unsettling to think about how this happened in what I assume to be a quiet neighborhood—just everyday people going about their lives. It's a sad reminder that violence can erupt anywhere, even in places we think are safe. Gault Street might have been just another part of Jackson to some, but for the victims and their families, it's now a place marked by loss and trauma. It's important for us to think about how these locations are more than just crime scenes—they're places where people lived and should have continued to do so peacefully. My heart goes out to Willie Morris’ family, as well as to the young woman who was hurt and is fighting through her recovery. I hope she pulls through. ? Does anyone here live nearby?
