I just can't wrap my head around the fact that someone so young, like Oterious Minor, had his life cut short in such a tragic way. It's alarming to see these violent incidences happening more frequently in Grenada. It really makes me wonder what's going on in our community that such young people feel compelled to turn to violence. I read that Minor was a loving person, and my heart goes out to his family who have to navigate through this unimaginable loss. I also think about the 16-year-old involved in this. It's hard to comprehend someone that age being caught up in murder charges, and it's a heavy burden for that family too. How is it that youths are getting involved in such serious crimes? Clearly, there's a bigger issue at play here. I hope people with information will come forward to help the police find out why this happened. We shouldn't let Oterious's story fade away without understanding and addressing what went wrong. Let's keep his memory alive and hope that these incidents decrease. Our community needs healing and a serious conversation about preventing violence among our youth.
