Did anyone else catch the news about Malik Ray being denied bond in the Anthony Davis case? While it's good to see some progress, I can’t help but think about how Anthony’s mother must feel at every court appearance. Each hearing is like reopening a wound for the family. This entire situation is such a huge reminder of the toll gun violence takes on real people. As a DJ, he was clearly more than just someone who played music; he brought people together and created safe space where everyone felt connected. It's so saddening to think how his absence has left a void and affected those who cherished his energy and talent.
