In the winter of 2018, concern began to grow for a 44-year-old man from Greeneville, Tennessee, named Male Homer Ricker. He was last seen on December 19, 2018, in the Mohawk/Bulls Gap area, a detail that would later become significant in the search for him. As days turned into weeks with no word from Ricker, his family grew increasingly worried.
