Has anyone else been following the case about Skylan Sherrod's tragic death in Columbus, MS? I've been thinking a lot about the reports of gunshots at 2 a.m. on the day it happened. It's so concerning that nobody called 911 in the moment—almost like there’s an acceptance of gunfire as background noise in some areas. It really says a lot about the level of desensitization in these communities, and that's just so sad to think about. I can’t imagine what Skylan’s family is going through with so many unanswered questions right now. I really hope the CPD is able to gather enough information from the community to piece together what happened that night. If anyone has any new updates or thoughts, please share. We should all keep this conversation going and do what we can to help bring some justice for Skylan and his loved ones.
