I’ve been fascinated with cold cases involving missing persons, and the case of Frank Thomas Ramos caught my attention recently. One detail that’s puzzling me is why his bicycle was found abandoned in such a specific spot—near Ke Iki Road. I’ve read that this area is a popular spot for surfers and tourists, especially with those beautiful beaches nearby. I wonder if anyone who was visiting or living in the area at the time might have seen something—maybe a tourist took a photo that captured more than just the scenery? It seems odd that no one noticed anything suspicious during that period. Anyone familiar with that stretch of road or the Waialua community back then? Every small detail could help shed light on what happened to Frank.
Does anyone else find it strange that, despite Frank Ramos expressing fear for his life, there doesn't seem to be any information about who or what he was afraid of? Considering he's from a relatively small community, you’d think someone would know something or have seen something more. It's unsettling to think about what might have happened between the time he left on his bike and when it was found near Ke Iki Road. Also, the discovery of the bicycle just two days later in a place so close to where he was last seen raises so many questions. Did someone local help to hide or move it? Or was it just left there with the expectation no one would notice? I feel like this is one of those cases where someone out there must have seen something but for whatever reason hasn't come forward. What are your thoughts?
Has anyone else dug into Frank Thomas Ramos’ case about that mysterious bicycle found? I was reading through the details, and it struck me as odd that his 15-speed Fuji was just left near Ke Iki Road. It's a pretty busy area, not somewhere you'd expect someone to just leave a bike. I wonder if anyone saw who dropped it there. Considering he was worried about his safety, I imagine he wouldn’t just abandon it if he didn’t have to. Has there been any analysis on that bike? Like fingerprints or any other evidence that might have been overlooked back in the day? It’s strange how a seemingly small detail like that could hold so many unanswered questions. Would love to hear thoughts or any local stories around it!
