Wow, what a sad situation. I've been reading up on the incident at Eastern Market and just can't stop thinking about the security gaps at public events like this. It seems like anyone can walk in with a weapon unnoticed. The fact that this happened during what should've been a fun day for sports fans really makes you think about the vulnerabilities we all face in large crowds. It's upsetting that Rayshawn Palmer, who seemed to be doing the right thing by trying to calm everyone down, ended up paying the ultimate price. It's high time event organizers take extra steps to ensure our safety. What do you all think about establishing more "weapon-free zones" at events like these? Would it make any difference? My heart really goes out to Rayshawn’s family and the pain they're going through. I hope we can find some solid solutions to prevent such senseless tragedies in the future.
