I can't stop thinking about how unsettling it must be for the residents of Columbia Commons Apartments right now. I can only imagine the fear and anxiety in that community, especially with something like this happening so close to home. It's so sad that Jeremiah's family is going through this, and no family should have to deal with such a loss. It's comforting, at least, to see the community coming together to support them during such a trying time. But all this makes me wonder about the security measures in place around the area. Are there enough cameras, or sufficient lighting at night, to deter these kinds of crimes? And if there's been talk about increasing security, what does that look like? I really hope they can find a way to make everyone feel safer soon. Until then, I hope more people come forward with information to help the investigation. Stay safe out there, everyone.
