I just can't wrap my head around how someone could do this to Christine Liddic-Rozzell and leave her family in such pain. I've been thinking a lot about the neighborhood where it happened—the 4000 block of Alto Road. Does anyone know if this area has been particularly troubled before, or is this part of a more recent spike in violence? While I don't live there, I have friends not far from that area, and they're understandably shaken. It’s like the community’s been put on edge, fearing what's next. And, of course, this tragic rise in Baltimore's homicide rate isn't helping anyone feel safe. To Christine’s family: I can’t imagine the loss you’re facing. This shouldn’t have happened. I hope the community will rally around you and that those with any information come forward. For all our sakes, let's hope they find the person responsible soon.
