I was reading about the tragic case of Louis Smith Jr. and it got me thinking about the safety issues at that apartment complex on Southern Avenue. I lived nearby a few years ago, and there always seemed to be a lack of security cameras around there. It's so concerning that someone could just go up a stairwell and take an innocent life without being caught on camera. ? I hope the management is looking into this and possibly installing more security measures, not just for justice in Louis' case, but to protect everyone living in that area from similar incidents in the future. Thoughts are with Louis' family and friends during this difficult time. If anyone knows anything, please consider reaching out to authorities. Someone out there might have seen or heard something without realizing how critical it might be. It could make all the difference.
