Has anyone looked into the recent increase in patrols around the area where Brian Batty was shot? I've read that the Baltimore Police have been trying to step up their presence in high-crime neighborhoods, but I'm curious if that's reflected in North Carey Street, especially after this incident. It’s so concerning because Brian’s death has reminded everyone of how these tragedies are tearing through the community. It's essential for the police to build trust with residents so they can effectively prevent these crimes, but it seems like they're not getting the cooperation they need. Thoughts on how the community and law enforcement can bridge this divide? I've been thinking about how crucial it is for initiatives to strengthen community engagement and support networks for both victims' families and at-risk youth.
