I’ve been thinking a lot about the gray Toyota Tacoma that Dario Villard used. It just makes me wonder how something so ordinary turned into such a key part of this tragedy. Vehicles like that are everywhere, and yet this one ended up being tied to two horrific events within such a short time span. It's chilling to think how, on any other day, it would just be another truck on the road. The people who witnessed the shooting must be going through such a tough time right now. I can't even begin to imagine the trauma of seeing something so violent, so suddenly. They were just going about their morning, and now they’re part of this story, too. My heart goes out to them, as well as to Civil Jean Calixte’s friends and family. The ripple effects of these events touch so many lives. I hope investigators are able to piece together more about what led up to this and bring some clarity to everyone affected by this senseless loss.
