I'm really struck by the lack of progress in finding who is responsible for Romar Lee Spencer's death. It's been a few months now, and the fact that there are still no suspects in custody is concerning. My heart goes out to his family and friends who must be dealing with so much uncertainty on top of their loss. I keep thinking about the role of community involvement in cases like this—sometimes it's the smallest observation or detail that can make a difference. I know MPD is doing what they can, but I just hope anyone with even the tiniest bit of information feels empowered to come forward. It's a reminder of how important it is for us to look out for one another, especially in difficult times like these.
