Hey everyone, I've been reading through the threads, and I can't stop thinking about Miguel's mom right now. I can't even begin to imagine what she must be going through. Losing a child in such a senseless act of violence is unfathomable. It's moments like these that remind us how important it is to come together as a community and support one another. If anyone has ideas on how we can help the Velez and Irizarry-Pardo families, or suggestions for how to push for more effective community safety measures, it would be great to discuss. Both families deserve every ounce of support we can offer them. Let's keep spreading the word - someone out there knows something and can help bring justice for Miguel and Kenneth. Stay safe, everyone, and look out for each other.

It’s truly unsettling to think about what Miguel’s family and friends are going through right now. I can’t imagine the pain of losing someone so young and full of potential. Milwaukee has become such a concerning place for residents, and incidents like this only heighten the fear. What do you all think about the reported gang violence in that area? Has anyone heard anything about initiatives from the city to curb this rise? It seems like we really need some strengthened community programs to help those at risk and prevent future tragedies. Rest in peace to both Miguel and Kenneth. They didn’t deserve this.
