I've been closely following the case of Daniel Howard, and I just read that Khalil Warren is headed for sentencing soon. The whole situation seems so complex and tragic. I can't stop thinking about Howard's family and what they're going through, especially as the sentencing date approaches. It's hard to imagine the pain they must be feeling while waiting to see if justice will be served. I came across an article that mentioned the District Attorney is pushing for a minimum of 30 years for Warren, but Howard's family is hoping for a longer sentence. It's understandable—they've lost so much. Does anyone know if there's been information on how involved Warren was compared to the other suspects? I keep hoping for updates that might bring some sense of closure or justice for the Howard family.

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that Daniel Howard is gone. I didn't know him personally, but as a former fellow student-athlete, his story just hits so close to home. People say he was a star both on and off the field at Millwood High and Fort Hays State, but what resonates with me is hearing how much he loved being a dad. That role meant the world to him and it's crushing to think about the hole left in his little one's life. Every time I see updates about this case, I can’t help but wonder how his family is holding up with everything going on. The legal proceedings, the arrests, all of it must be a heavy burden on them. Let's not forget to keep them in our thoughts.
