Did anyone else see the surveillance footage released by TPD in the Tre Pizana case? It’s tough to watch, knowing that a life was ended so suddenly. This wasn’t some isolated location either—it happened in a busy shopping center parking lot. How brazen does someone have to be to pull a trigger with people around, just going about their day? It’s just so deeply unsettling and makes you think about what pushes young people into gangs in the first place. The impact of this act of violence won’t ever just go away. I hope that as the case against Lekysha Davis progresses, more attention will be given to these underlying issues, so we can stop the cycle and prevent loss like this from happening again. Keeping Tre’s family in my thoughts. ?
