I’ve been following the Oklahoma City case and I can't stop thinking about how quickly things escalated from a fight to a fatal shooting. It’s truly unsettling to think about how a disagreement in a parking lot can lead to the loss of life, especially of someone just sitting in their car like Carlin Hawthorne. It's a chilling reminder of how senseless violence can have ripple effects, impacting not just the victims, but entire communities.
I'm hoping that the ongoing investigation brings some clarity soon. It’s understandable that people are scared to come forward, but any piece of information, no matter how small, could help bring justice for Carlin and her family. This is such a senseless tragedy. I wanted to point out the location where this happened—3034 North Portland Avenue. I'm not super familiar with the area, but I've read that it's a place where people usually feel pretty safe. It breaks my heart to think that Carlin Hawthorne lost her life in a spot where you wouldn't expect something like this to occur. I can't imagine the pain her family is going through.
