In the early hours of a Friday morning in Washington, D.C., violence abruptly ended the life of 32-year-old Maurice Nathaniel Jackson. On March 24, 2017, police responded to reports of gunfire around 12:30 a.m. on the 1900 block of Fairlawn Avenue, Southeast.
