I've been following the tragic case of Jordan Copley and Robert Daly-Romero, and I can't stop thinking about what might have led to such a senseless act of violence at a bus stop in Parkland. It's deeply unsettling to know that these men were just going about their daily lives when their futures were abruptly stolen from them. What strikes me most is the age difference between the two victims. One was climbing into adulthood at just 18, and the other had probably accumulated a lifetime of stories at 41. How did their lives intersect in such a tragic moment? Were they connected in some way, or was it just a terrible coincidence that they were at the same place at the same time?
I can't imagine what their families are going through, trying to grasp such a tremendous loss without any clear answers. My heart goes out to them as they wait for justice and hopefully some form of closure. This is such a painful reminder of our need for better safety measures in public spaces. I'm keeping them in my thoughts every day as I hope for updates from the Pierce County Sheriff's Department. If anyone has heard anything new or has insights into similar cases, it'd be great to share and discuss here. Let’s keep this thread alive in memory of Jordan and Robert.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the tragic case out of Parkland, and my heart really goes out to the families of both Jordan Copley and Robert Daly-Romero. I've been thinking a lot about the impact that these random acts of violence have on communities. There was a small candlelight vigil held for Jordan at the bus stop where the incident happened. His friends mentioned how bright and full of life he was, and it’s just devastating to see such potential taken away so senselessly.

It really hits home that this could happen to anyone, just waiting at a bus stop going about their daily lives. I think it’s important to keep sharing stories like these, not just to bring the perpetrators to justice but to also push for meaningful change so that no other family has to suffer like this.

Has there been any update on whether the vigil or anything else is planned to keep the awareness going? I'd like to contribute in any way possible to honor their lives and help bring about change.

Stay safe, everyone.
