It's been over a year since Nicholas Kernan was taken from his family and our community in such a senseless act of violence. I can only imagine the pain his loved ones must still be feeling without any answers. The part that really stands out to me is that this happened in broad daylight and still, no arrests have been made. It’s disturbing to think that this shooter is still out there. I've been following this case closely, and I’m really hoping that the video footage the CPD released will jog someone’s memory or conscience enough to come forward with what they know. It takes just one tip, one person, to change the course of this investigation. My heart goes out to his family and friends. They deserve to know who took Nicholas away from them. I’m holding onto hope that justice will eventually prevail and that someone will do the right thing. Stay strong, Kernan family. We’re all hoping for answers soon.
