Hi everyone, I can't help but think about how much pain the Kandeh family and their community must be experiencing right now. The details coming out about Mohamed Lamin Kandeh’s past are troubling, to say the least. It's hard to wrap my head around the idea that someone could turn on their own family in such a horrific way. I wonder if there were any red flags or warning signs that might have indicated the potential for violence beyond the incidents documented with his father and his ex-girlfriend's family. It's terrifying to think how situations can escalate like this when mental health issues and previous violence aren't adequately addressed. It’s just such a sad reminder of the importance of mental health support and intervention early on. My thoughts are with the Kandeh family’s daughter and other loved ones who now have to navigate through this unimaginable tragedy.
