I recently came across the heartbreaking case of Danielle Harris and Lasteven Huckabee, and I can't stop thinking about the children. It's unimaginable what they must be going through after witnessing such a tragic event. I just read that a GoFundMe has been set up to support them, and while financial assistance is crucial, I truly hope they're receiving the emotional support they so desperately need as well. It always confounds me how situations escalate to this point. I've seen people close to me fall into cycles of domestic violence, and it's a brutal reminder that more needs to be done to help families before they reach such tragic ends. Danielle’s family has my deepest sympathies, and my thoughts are with those kids. It's going to be a long road for them, but I hope they find their way to healing and peace.
