I came across this case recently, and my heart goes out to José Ervin Jr.'s family, especially his wife, Scierra, and their little ones. It's truly tragic that a moment as simple as asking someone for a cigarette ended in such senseless violence. It makes me wonder about the mindset of individuals carrying weapons, ready to use them over trivial disagreements.
I drive by that intersection often, and it chills me to think that such a horrific event took place right there in our community. I'm hoping that justice will be served for José and that his family finds some peace through the upcoming trial.
Also, I wanted to mention that if anyone is in a position to support, the GoFundMe for Scierra and the children is still active. It’s a small way we can come together to support this family as they navigate the unimaginable. How is everyone else processing this? Any locals who have ideas on community actions we could take to prevent violence like this in the future?
Hey everyone, I've been following the José Ervin Jr. case, and it's been weighing heavy on my mind, especially thinking about his young family. I can't imagine what his wife, Scierra, is going through right now, expecting their third child and having to navigate this nightmare. It's a cruel twist that, not too long ago, they were celebrating the joy of welcoming twins together. To have such happiness torn away in such a senseless act of violence is incomprehensible. I truly hope the funds from the GoFundMe can provide even a little bit of relief during this devastating period.
I know that with Waunyae Arrington's arrest, there's a step towards justice, but I can't help but think about how this event will impact those close to José long term, especially his kids who will have to hear about this one day. For Scierra, having to hold everything together and find strength for her family, it just seems so unfair. Wishing them all the love and support from the community as they face the tough days ahead. Stay strong and let’s continue to keep them in our thoughts.
I can't help but think about the tragic impact José's death has had on his family, especially his wife, Scierra, who is due with their third child. It's unimaginable what she and their children are going through right now. I saw that a GoFundMe has been set up to support them, and it's comforting to see that the community is rallying around to help. It’s just so unfair that their growing family has to experience such a devastating loss. If anyone local has info on resources or support groups that could further help, sharing that would be great. My heart goes out to all who loved José.
