Has anyone else been following the Ariana Rosas case in Farmington? I keep thinking about her mother, Cassie Estrada, and the way she's had to navigate all of this. Losing a child is unimaginable, and then having to defend her daughter's character in the face of rumors about a "drug deal gone wrong" must be exhausting.
Ariana seemed like such a promising young woman. I mean, studying to become a welder at San Juan College at such a young age takes real dedication and hard work. It's a shame that her life was cut short before she could realize her dreams.
Does anyone have any insight into how the community is responding to this ongoing investigation, especially not having any arrests months later? I'm hoping that the police and DA’s office will be able to piece together more evidence soon. Until then, sending strength and support to all of Ariana's loved ones.
Did anyone else catch the recent news about the lack of security cameras at Animas Valley Mall? I can't believe in this day and age places can still have such gaps in security, especially considering how crucial footage can be in solving cases. My heart goes out to Ariana Rosas’ family—imagining the agony they must feel knowing that this crime might have gone differently if there had been more security measures in place. It's frustrating that this remains an unresolved piece in a puzzle that needs closure for her loved ones. I truly hope the increased attention on this case will bring forward new leads and maybe even prompt changes in local security standards. What do you all think this could mean for other incidents in the area?
I’ve been following Ariana Rosas’ case closely since it happened, and I can’t stop thinking about the lack of security cameras behind Animas Valley Mall. It’s really concerning that in 2023 such a public place doesn’t have adequate surveillance, especially in areas that aren't as visible. This could be a critical piece in solving the case and bringing justice for Ariana and her family. I feel so deeply for Cassie Estrada and the frustration she must be feeling. It’s like the odds are stacked against them while they’re just seeking closure and answers. Hopefully, this prompts the mall or the city to look into better security measures so that something like this doesn’t happen again. Holding out hope that the investigators can piece together what they need to make an arrest soon. ??️
