Has anyone else read about how Marcos Barela, the 13-year-old involved in Sydney Wilson’s tragic case, turned himself in? I can’t imagine the whirlwind of emotions his family must be feeling, let alone Sydney’s loved ones. It's chilling to think about someone so young involved in something so severe. What drives a kid to carry a gun and feel so cornered or reckless that they'd resort to this? I hope this incident sparks necessary conversations about youth violence and supports the families involved.
