I’ve been following Francisco Sandoval’s case closely, and it's difficult to comprehend the senselessness of this tragedy. It's terrifying to think that a road rage incident could escalate to such violence. His death has undoubtedly left a significant void in his family and among his friends in the car community. I attended the vigil, and it was truly touching to see how many people showed up to celebrate his life and support his loved ones. It’s a testament to what a great person he was.
I'm really hoping they get some credible leads soon. It’s frustrating not knowing who did this or why. If anyone in the Albuquerque area recalls seeing anything strange around Lead Avenue and 6th Street around that time, please reach out to the authorities. We all need to rally together to find justice for Francisco and bring some peace to those who cared about him.
It's truly upsetting to hear about the loss of Francisco Sandoval. From everything I've read, he seemed like such a warm and devoted member of the Albuquerque car scene. I never got the chance to know him personally, but I can feel the community's loss when reading about him through others' eyes. What’s really sticking with me is the love his friends and family have shown by organizing that vigil. It must have been comforting for his loved ones to see such a turnout and to know how much he was appreciated by those around him. It really speaks to his character.
Given the circumstances, it’s concerning that the other driver involved hasn’t been identified yet. With how often people have dash cams or surveillance cameras these days, I hope someone steps forward soon with information, no matter how small it may be. It feels like the Sandoval family deserves some closure. If anyone is from the area or knows someone who was around Lead Avenue and 6th Street that day, please keep this case in mind and contact authorities if you have any info.
