Hi everyone,
This whole case really sits heavy on my mind, especially when thinking about the Embudo Trailhead itself. I’ve been there numerous times and it’s such a tranquil place—perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life. That parking lot has always felt like a safe haven, a spot where you can take a moment to pause and just soak in the beautiful scenery. It’s so hard to believe that something so violent could happen in a place known for its peaceful atmosphere.
My heart goes out to Marvin Riley’s family and friends. I can only imagine what they’re going through, grappling not only with their grief but also with the shock of such a sudden, senseless tragedy. It’s gut-wrenching to think that his life ended while he was simply enjoying a sunset, something so many of us take for granted.
Looking forward to any updates as the legal process unfolds. It's crucial for justice to be served, and I'm hoping Marvin's loved ones find some semblance of peace in the midst of all this chaos. Sending love to anyone affected by this tragedy.
Stay safe out there, folks.
I’ve been following Marvin Riley’s case since it happened, and it just hits hard every time I think about it. I was particularly struck by where it all took place. The Embudo Trailhead is such a serene spot—one of my favorite places to clear my head and take in the beauty of Albuquerque’s sunsets. For something so tragic to happen there feels almost unreal.
It’s a place meant for peace and reflection, and thinking of Marvin sitting there, perhaps just hoping to enjoy a tranquil moment, only for it to end so horrifically, is profoundly sad. This incident reminds us that life is fragile, and we never quite know what’s coming next. Let’s keep Marvin’s family and friends in our thoughts as they navigate this incredibly difficult time.
If any of you are in the area and have more memories of Marvin at Embudo, or information that could help shine a light on who he was, please feel free to share. It would mean a lot to his loved ones and all of us who are trying to understand and process this loss.
