Does anyone else find it so unsettling that Delgado had the presence of mind to take a selfie hours before the shooting? I mean, the whole thing is just so bizarre and chilling. It's like, on one hand, he claims not to remember anything about the incident because of intoxication, yet there he is, taking a selfie with that eerie message on his sweatshirt. I can't imagine what Omar’s family must be going through, trying to process such an incomprehensible loss. It makes you wonder what was going through Delgado’s mind during those hours leading up to that tragic morning. My heart goes out to Omar’s loved ones as they continue to search for answers and try to find some sense of peace.
It's tragic to think about how Omar's life was cut short in such a senseless way. Reading about this case got me thinking about the impact it must have on his family and friends. I can't even begin to imagine the mix of emotions they must be feeling—confusion, anger, indescribable loss. Seeing that Omar was described as someone who always prioritized his family makes this even more painful. Family ties are so important, and losing a beloved family member in this manner must be beyond devastating.
The details about Delgado taking a selfie hours before the incident are unexpectedly chilling. It makes you wonder what was going through his mind at that time. Was this premeditated, or was it really the result of intoxication as he claimed? Either way, it doesn't change the outcome for Omar and those who loved him. My thoughts are with everyone affected by this tragedy, hoping they find strength and some form of peace over time.
