I just can't stop thinking about her family, especially her parents, LaNeisha and Demetrics. Losing a child is every parent's worst nightmare, and under such tragic circumstances, it must be incomprehensibly painful. It sounds like Ariez had so much life ahead of her. I read somewhere that she was planning to return to college and was really passionate about making a difference in her community. It’s heartbreaking that her potential was cut short. This story really emphasizes how critical it is to have more resources and awareness around domestic violence so no one else has to go through such loss. My thoughts are with everyone who loved and cherished her. ?

I've been following the case of Ariez Eldridge, and my heart goes out to her family and friends who must be grappling with unimaginable grief right now. I wanted to take a moment to talk about the importance of recognizing the early signs of domestic violence. It seems like so many of these tragedies could be prevented if there was more awareness and resources available for those in precarious situations. While we can’t change what happened to Ariez, maybe we can work towards preventing future tragedies by spreading the word about services like the Southern Nevada Family Justice Center. They do such crucial work in providing safe havens and support for individuals experiencing intimate partner violence. For anyone who may need help or knows someone who does, please reach out to resources in your area. If sharing this information can help even one person, that’s a step in the right direction. Stay safe, everyone.
