Hey everyone, I've been following Braxtyn's case and something just doesn't sit right with me about the altercation inside the house. It seems so tragic that a family dispute escalated to such a devastating end. From what I've read, Braxtyn loved his family and had a deep connection with his hometown despite moving around. It's hard to accept that things ended this way for him, given how tight-knit families in Garden City usually are. I guess my thoughts are with Shannon, Michael, Alexia, and the rest of his family. I can't even imagine the pain they're feeling right now. Their lives must have been turned upside down. I hope they find strength in each other and the community during such a difficult time. Does anyone here have any thoughts on how it might have reached that breaking point? It's just not adding up for me.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Braxtyn Jordon Loyd and it’s really been on my mind. I couldn't help but think about the difficult decision that law enforcement and the DA's office had to make in determining this was self-defense. It must have been a painstaking process for everyone involved, especially considering no one wants to think about a family member having to take such drastic measures. I also can't stop thinking about his mom, Shannon, and how strong she must be having to support everyone else while dealing with this tragedy herself. Losing a child is unimaginable, and to add the complexity of the situation must be incredibly heavy. It's important we respect the privacy and healing process of Braxtyn's family. Does anyone remember hearing about any outreach or community support for them? It would be nice to think they have a good network around them during this time.
