I've been following Eric "Bird" Lamont Ricks's case and can't help but feel the immense void his absence must be leaving. The way his nephew, Keon, stepped up to organize a fundraiser really speaks volumes about the tight-knit bond their family shares. It's so tough to see anyone having to arrange such things under the circumstances, especially when it comes unexpectedly. I didn’t know Eric personally, but from what everyone has shared, it seems he had a knack for lighting up a room and bringing people together. It’s just so difficult to digest how someone who brought so much positivity could be taken away so abruptly. My thoughts are with Keon and the rest of Eric's family as they navigate through this challenging time. I hope the community rallies around them to provide the support they need to honor his memory and give him the send-off he deserves. ?️
