It's deeply upsetting to hear about the loss of James Morgan amidst the alarming rise in violence in Shreveport. Attending a funeral is never easy, but I can only imagine the profound sorrow felt by his family and friends during the services at Shadows Of The Cross Church. To think James’ life was celebrated there, and yet, we still don't have solid answers about what happened is frustrating. The community must be feeling the weight of fear alongside their grief. It's like a somber cycle, where violence leaves the community mourning and in search of justice, often without resolution. Hoping that there will be updates soon, not just for James’ case, but to assure families that Shreveport can and will be safer. Let’s remember James not just as a statistic, but as a person whose life mattered deeply to those around him.

It’s just devastating to hear about James Morgan and the state of things in Shreveport right now. I find myself thinking not just about James, but about his family and the unsolved nature of his case. With such a jump in homicides, is law enforcement overwhelmed, or are there other underlying issues making things this bad? It’s troubling to think about how many families are left without answers, like James’s family, who are still in the dark. His funeral seemed beautifully put together, but no family should have to go through that without closure. Are there any local community groups stepping up to support these families and maybe even push for more resources in tackling these violent crimes? Hoping something can spark a positive change for those left behind.
