I've been following the Yahnya Ware case, and one thing I can't stop thinking about is the community's role in bringing justice. Little Haiti is a neighborhood where people look out for one another, and it's tragic that such violence could happen in a place where families should feel safe. I truly hope that those who have any information, no matter how small, find courage to speak up. Yahnya's family deserves closure, and the community deserves to feel safe again. It's crucial for us to break the silence and support each other during these times. Anyone with info can reach out anonymously through Crime Stoppers, which I think is a great way to protect individuals who might be afraid to come forward. Let's stand together and help bring an end to this senseless violence.
I’ve been thinking a lot about Yahnya’s case, and it’s just so chilling to remember that this happened right in a neighborhood where many families live. I can only imagine the fear it must have instilled in the community. It’s hard to understand how something like this can happen to an innocent child who was just going about her day. The fact that it’s been years and the shooter still hasn’t been caught... it’s frustrating, to say the least.
If there’s anything we can do, it's to keep talking about Yahnya and keep the conversation going. Someone out there knows something, and the community needs justice for her and her family. Let’s hope that by continually raising awareness, we can bring forward the information needed to solve this case. Stay safe, everyone – and please, if you know anything, don’t hesitate to reach out to Crime Stoppers. Yahnya deserves better.
Hi everyone,
I've been following the tragic case of Yahnya Ware and something that really stands out to me is the importance of community involvement in reaching justice. Yahnya's passing is a devastating loss, and I can't even begin to imagine the pain her family is going through. But what I wholeheartedly believe is that there are people out there with pieces of the puzzle that could help identify those responsible.
Little Haiti is a tight-knit community, and while it can be daunting to come forward, sharing even the smallest piece of information can make all the difference. Back in 2010, I remember the area being quite busy around 9 p.m. — someone must have seen something.
If you or anyone you know might have been around NE Miami Place and 64th Terrace on that fateful night, please consider reaching out to the authorities or Crime Stoppers. Remaining silent only lets the perpetrators believe they can get away with this. Let’s band together for Yahnya and her family.
Justice needs all of us.
Stay safe, everyone.
