I've been following the tragic events in Carencro Park, and my heart goes out to the families of Eric Nunnery and Tyrell Harris. I can't even begin to imagine the pain they're going through right now. What really stood out to me in this case is the role of technology, particularly the Lafayette Parish Sheriff's Office Real Time Crime Center, in identifying the suspect so quickly. It’s amazing—and somewhat comforting—to see how advancements in technology can aid investigations. Yet, it's a sobering reminder of the violence that impacts so many lives. I hope justice is served, but more than anything, I hope the families find some peace in these incredibly difficult times.
