Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Eric Bosley and the senseless violence that happened in Lake Charles? I’ve been reading up on it, and my heart goes out to the families involved, especially to Eric’s mom, who not only lost her son but also endured such trauma at the hands of someone she trusted. One thing I can't stop thinking about: how did Derik K. Rayborn, with a criminal history preventing him from legally carrying a gun, still manage to have one? It’s deeply troubling. I feel like this incident highlights such an important issue around firearm access for those with violent pasts, and I hope it prompts stronger preventative measures in the future. Sending thoughts and strength to everyone touched by this tragedy.
